Did you know that Tik Tok is getting banned in some countries?

Just in case you were not aware, Tik Tok is a social media platform that is growing like crazy.

I don't really know the exact reason why is getting banned but that's not the point.

The point here is that many many new influencers with thousands and even millions of followers are about to lose their following.

Why this is a big deal?

Well, those people have an online asset, a Tik Tok following. Any following on any social media is an asset and is always good to have.

But the truth is that if you only rely on those platforms, in reality you don't own that audience, Tik Tok owns it, YouTube owns it. Facebook owns it.

The solution to this is to build your email list.

It doesn't matter if you get banned across all social media, you would still have contact with your audience through email.

So this is real life and is happening. A huge platform is likely to disappear, and with that, the followers too.
