YESSIOW is a Bali-based mural artist and illustrator who's recently catapulted herself into the street art scene, winning commissions and recognition worldwide. And this is entirely by design. Initially shy to put herself out there, YESSIOW worked hard to get out of her comfort zone and has built the confidence to put her hat in the ring every time. To that end, she's dedicated hours to tracking international open calls for festivals and has built a social media page sharing all her findings with other artists.

On this episode, we discuss her humble mural beginnings, painting in her friend's bedrooms to winning worldwide commissions and recently being invited to participate in a group show in Indonesia's national museum with the country's most reputable street artists.
