Brother David looks into how the Religious spirit, and confidence in the flesh and this returning to the keeping of the Law for righteousness caused Peter and others regress, and fall prey to the pressure of what others (Certain Religious Jews) think based upon the people one associates with.  The pressure that the gentiles needed to be circumcised and keep the law of Moses for righteousness, a blend if you will of Law and Grace.  The Apostle Paul makes his case in Galatians 2 that man is not justified by the keeping of the law.
