Listen Later

In this episode the 77th anniversary of Pearl Harbor is celebrated the only way Veterans Battalion knows how by interviewing a senior who's been a veteran for over 59 years. Recorded from the Bravery Brewery Company. Although JP couldn't make the episode you still get a look at this long time vet's perspective and advice on PTSD and acclimation to society once you've left the line of service.

"Grandpa" suggests that all young men with PTSD need to find someone they can talk about the whole experience with in detail. "Grandpa" describes what it was like to come out of World War II and the great depression while our boys share how things have changed in bootcamp across the generations.

The concept at heart here is the breaking of the person down to be made into a killer, go to war or dispatch location only to be sent back into society without untraining the killer in a person. It's happening everyday and the Veterans Battalion want to signal a flare to let you know there is help.
