Today, Kelsey interviews Shiva Pouryousef. She is a talented interior designer and educator from Tehran. She is a cofounder of the Interior Design Intensive Center, which has educated over 1,000 students and continues to evolve into a progressive method of education. Beginning her design career, she moved abroad to the UK, to complete her bachelors degree in Interior Architecture at Oxford Brookes University and then continued her studies in New York City at Pratt Institute where she received her master’s degree in interior design. After moving back to Iran, she realized that there was a lack of opportunities to learn interior design, also a reason she left for her studies in the first place.
