Whoo! On to a new month and a new genre for May! (This year is FLYING by ain't it?!) So we're gonna be talking about Progressive (a.k.a. "Prog.") Rock & Metal this month! We begin with our usual discussion about what exactly is Prog? What are some of the defining characteristics? What does it sound like and look like? Where are some of the boundaries between Prog proper and the rest of the music community? So there's definitely an interesting discussion on this one, with lots of examples thrown in for your auditory pleasure. So kick back, relax, grab the spaciest alcoholic beverage you can find, and listen up!
