Like Cousin, Like Son

In September 2020, Ben and Tara got a phone call from a family member about a surprise cousin who had been born in another part of the state and placed in foster care.

•

Around the same time, I got a phone call from our local DHR about a newborn in the NICU needing a temporary home.

•

This is a story that is near to my heart and I had all the tissues ready for this one.
