Part 1 of "The Importance of Prayer"

The prophet said it would be sin against God if he failed to continue to pray for the people.  Do we pray like we should?  Pray without ceasing.  Effectual, fervent prayer availeth much.  Hundreds of references to prayer are found in the Word of God.  

When shopping, our child cries out for first this thing and then that thing, but we keep pushing the shopping buggy on.  Then the child cries out for That thing...and keeps crying out...and throws a tantrum for it.   We should be praying as if throwing a tantrum for what we are asking God for.  Otherwise, he may just keep pushing the shopping buggy on and until we do pray tantrum level prayers for that thing, he won't think we are serious concerning our petition.
