The day I broke my foot I was relaxing at a beautiful luxury beach bar.

I was wearing a fancy hat the Universe had gifted me the day before.

I had just received a few thousand dollars with my mission work that weekend,

And I was looking at a crystal clear sea and the mountains while drinking my coffee and listening to jazz music in my ears…

It was such a human experience moment of wealth.

Yet I felt utterly restless. It was a dream. It was an unreal dream. I was there, but I wasn’t.

I couldn’t land…

And then I broke my foot.

In the weeks after, it became clear that one of the reasons I broke my foot was connected to being able to accept the good life.
