When you meet someone for the first time it's natural to focus on the outer appearance such is how they dress, how they walk and talk and generally carry themselves. These are the things that actually attract us to each other. Or, what we often do is attempt to go over the list of likes and dislikes, or do's and don'ts which need attention as well - but don't reveal who the person really is.
