It was hard to be in a healthy relationship when all they knew was the abuse at home, whether it'd be physical, emotional, psychological, or verbal. They decided that THAT does not define who they are. Whatever they went through & all their traumatic experiences, that doesn't define them or anyone. Instead, it's what you MAKE out of it.
