This week we are discussing the funny, charming, and secretly spicy: It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey

It Happened One Summer is the story of an LA influencer who has never known hard work. She's cut off from her wealth and exiled to a small seaside town. It's there she has to discover who she really is and also where she butts heads with a surly local who, at first, thinks she doesn't belong. If you enjoy rom-coms with some spice and are a Schitt's Creek fan, this book is for you!

As always, our book discussions contain heavy spoilers for every book that we read, this is no exception.

**Most of our episodes are labeled as 'explicit' because we do tend to cuss. This one definitely has that as well, but this is also a very 'adult-content based book' please keep that in mind!
