When love has the first word in our lives, we are free from the slavery of fear and punishment. John wrote, "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear..." Peter explained, "...you are a slave to whatever controls you." So, living and trusting God's love for us and in us, frees us from the slavery of fearing what others think, and what others say. Consider these phrases as you listen to what God has to say about slavery and freedom.
