BUTT THEY DIDN'T! 2002's "8 Mile" starring Marshall Mathers III was actually a pleasant surprise back then and still is now, 20 years later ... even if he got the Howard Stern "Private Parts" treatment and his first gig was playing HIMSELF in his OWN (semi) auto-biographical movie.

Was there any reason for 8 Mile being as surprisingly good as it was? Should Anthony Mackie be thankful I did NOT approach when he still only known as Papa Doc, the LOSER?? OF COURSE YOU LIVE IN A TRAILER PARK SLURPING UP YOUR MOM'S COLD SPAGHETTI IF SHE'S COMPLAINING TO YOU ABOUT HER DISABLED BOYFRIEND NOT EATING HER OUT, NO QUESTION!!!
