I'm so honored to have Ellan Ruskamp on the show today to share her story in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month this month. Ellan shares the emotions and challenges she faced losing her baby boy, Sam, how she and her family took the time and space needed to grieve, and the importance of empathy over sympathy.

Ellan is a farm wife and fellow boy mama from rural Nebraska. When she's not chasing her kiddos or helping out on the farm, she enjoys getting in touch with her creative side through her business, Midwest Marigold. This is where she designs graphic tees that are inspired by the heart and soul of rural life that leaves women feeling confident and beautiful in everyday life.
