History reveals that socialism has always failed. It starts out well like a pyramid scheme, but it ultimately crashes because it is not consistent with the fundamental principles of human behavior. It ignores incentives.

People will work hard when there is an incentive to profit, make money, be promoted to a higher paid position, gain property rights and a better life. Incentives motivate us to work. Benefits come back to us.

In capitalistic countries such as America, the theory is that incentive matters.

Under socialism, incentive is totally ignored. A centrally government-planned economy without market prices or profits, where profit and property are owned by the state, is a system with no incentive for the individual. It is doomed to fail.

Under socialism and communism,

A. There is no free market economy where prices are determined by the market.

B. There is no system of profit and loss accountability.

C. There are no property rights. We cannot own our own business property.

Socialism fails because it destroys the human spirit to develop.

American capitalism frees and motivates people to put their dreams and creativity into action to create wealth. Our human spirits are nurtured under capitalism, not socialism.

Why do you think the people of Cuba, a communist nation, are getting makeshift boats to come to America?

Every nation that has tried socialism has failed. Examples include:

• Russia – Old Soviet Union

• Cuba

• Venezuela

• Korea

• Germany

• Ethiopia

• Yugoslavia

• Mongolia

• Romania

• Bulgaria

• And the list goes on…
