Jess Elsie is an actress from London, England, UK. She discovered acting as a young girl and perceived it with resilience ever since. She convinced her mom to move from Leicester where she was born to London to attend drama school at 9 years old - talking about pursuing your dreams! And she followed her calling ever since and is graduating from Drama Centre London in December this year.

Her goal is it to create theatre and art without borders. She wants to open up theatre to everyone no matter where they are from. Intercultural exchange and learning. Bringing our world together and work together, ´creating art together

Being an artist is a constant curiosity and learning and exploring. Having an open mind and trying to understand others and learn from them. And that is what Jess is doing. She is a free-spirit with a deep sense of righteousness and standing up for less privileged humans.

In this conversation, we talk a lot about womanhood and feminism, racism, gender, equality, our privileged position in life and all of this in connection with the theatre. As well as how pandemics influence the art life and she lets us into her life and what goes into the preparation for a role.
