On Christimas eve of 1945, George and Jennie Sodder, and 9 of their 10 children were getting ready for Christmas day. They all eventually went to sleep, but around 1am, they were awoken to the smell of smoke – their house was on fire. 4 of the 9 family members inside managed to make it out of the house. Which meant that the other 5 never came out. You would assume as investigators did, that these children unfortunately died in the home that night. But things are not always so straightforward. This is the Mysterious story of the Sodder Children.
