This week on the 8 Tracks podcast, the boys have another PACKED show for the people, including Part 3 of our documentary review for The Beatles Anthology! Today, we run through Episodes 5 and 6 which chronicle the band's peak of popularity, the legendary Shea Stadium concert and their ultimate decision to stop touring after a few scandals. Most importantly, we are treated to stories from the making of three of their biggest albums: Rubber Soul, Revolver and Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. Make sure you go back and listen to Episode 74 and 75 to lay the ground work and get excited to keep The Beatles train rolling.
The boys also run through their Spotify Wrapped from 2025. Though we are a little behind the times, we didn't want to completely close the door on 2025 and took a trip down memory lane to remember the great music we enjoyed last year. In addition, Mike runs through his two favorite segments with another great "On This Day in Music History" segment and two new "Groove of the Week" recaps. Nick also has two great "Vinyl Friday" recaps for the people including Vince Guaraldi Trio's "A Charlie Brown Christmas", and Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here".
You can find every episode of this show here on Spotify, and Apple Podcast with new episodes dropping every other Friday.
