52-Week Rhythm

#8: What Does it Mean to Assume the Best?

Listen Later

This week's 52‑Week Rhythm challenges us to assume the best in every interaction by embracing the grace-filled love described in 1 Corinthians 13:7—putting up with, trusting, hoping, and enduring all things. Borrowing from a jury-selection illustration, we're called to treat others as "innocent until proven guilty": offering them the benefit of the doubt, listening with humility, and seeking to understand before passing judgment. As we practice pausing, praying, and asking "help me understand," this rhythm encourages us to lead with grace, release assumptions, and actively reflect God's love in all our relationships.
