The need to be grateful implies that no matter what we're struggling with or what we've been through, we need to focus on what's going right and be thankful. And yes, in principle that sounds great, but sometimes the desire to be grateful brings on other feelings of guilt, loneliness, isolation, and resent.How can we find gratitude for the good, while not rushing past the pain?
