Sean Matson is a former Navy SEAL and founder of Matbock. A company whose mission is to design lighter and more practical equipment for every environment. Katilyn Hernandez is currently the Company Commander of the 717th OD CO (EOD). She is a self-proclaimed homebody and passionate Cross Fitter.
Both of these individuals will be running a mile on Saturday, April 3, 2021. It’s not just any mile, it’s a mile in an EOD bomb suit. They are currently working to break both the male and female world records. They will be putting on an 80+ pound EOD bomb suit to take on this pursuit. The mission is to raise support for the Head Strong Project. Head Strong was founded in 2012, to provide confidential, cost-free, and frictionless mental health care treatment for military veterans and their families that works.
