Join our President & CEO, Maria Miller as she speaks with French sculptor, Anilore Banon. Anilore's works are featured in many prominent places around the world, but her connection to the The War Memorial lives through 2 specific pieces - Les Braves, and Les Braves II: At Water's Edge.

The original work is permanently installed and displayed on Omaha Beach in Normandy, France, while the second sculpture, and only reproduction in the world, lives on the back lawn of The War Memorial. Both sculptures are dedicated to the lasting memory of everyone involved in the D-Day Operation of WWII.
