On a cold December night in 1957, 7 year old Maria Ridulph mysteriously disappeared. The first snow of the season fell as Maria played with her best friend, Kathy Sigmon, just outside both girls' homes, in Sycamore IL. While the girls played, they were approached by a man who called himself, Johnny. Kathy went inside her home to get her mittens. When she returned, her friend and the mysterious man were gone.
