Nick joins the show this week to talk about one of his favorite movies, "Malcolm X." I'll be honest, it took me longer than I would admit to watching the movies but it immediately shoots up to my top favorites. This week, Nick and I talk about how relevant the movie still is and how history can sometimes Disneyfy figures like Malcolm X.
Nick is one of the two hosts of one of my favorite podcasts, 'This is the thing podcast,' where he and Justin discuss all things including breaking down the misconception that Black men and men in general can't be vulnerable.
To relax, Nick watches the classic, 'Boondocks.' It follows the Freemans boys, Riley and Huey, "who undergo culture clash when they move from Chicago to the suburbs to live with their granddad. It's currently streaming on HBOMax. Nick thinks more people should stop what they're doing and start watching Netflix's 'Midnight Mass.'
