TROPICS: We are tracking a strong tropical wave entering the NE Caribbean this morning. This wave will likely become tropical storm "Fred" today as it approaches Puerto Rico. This system may be near Florida by the weekend. Indications are it may go into the Gulf of Mexico. We will be tracking.
