How to make a passive audio coupler into a distortion pedal. I mention this is an eight dollar part but it can easily be an eight cent one! Find a badly made coupler that doesn't fit well over a jack or insert it in partly exposed. Your hands are the contacts for adding static and pops. Audio used in this demo is Nanoloop FM with 3.5mm audio coupler between two 3.5mm TS cables.
