While growing a large LinkedIn network may seem like a great goal, you may want to think again. Having a network of the wrong people can be like have a garden full of weeds. And as any wise gardener knows, weeds left unchecked will soon take over and strangle the flowers. Like so many of us, when Sue first got started with LinkedIn, she made the mistake of connecting with anyone that asked. As a result, she amassed a network of 15,000 people, which resulted in a cluttered feed and noisy in-box. Determined to tame her LinkedIn network, she drastically reduced her connections and is sharing the lessons learned.
