As a believer, you are saved by God’s gift of grace by faith in Jesus, not by trying to adhere to the Mosaic Law. Jesus ushered in freedom from the Law by fulfilling the Law himself. But as Pastor Tom will explain today, you are required to obey Christ. As a believer you will one day sit in judgement to give account for your conduct and how you fulfilled Jesus’s law of love. How do you show mercy and love? God’s grace doesn’t cancel your duty to obey Him, but it gives reason to obey.
