The vision of the Buddha, the consummate physician, is not limited to these worldly objectives. The Buddha, in his wise, fearless love, wants nothing less for us than all there is; than all we are. Beyond healing, beyond transforming, lies transcendence of all the limited ways we perceive ourselves, life, the world, reality itself.

Lama Zopa guides a meditation of shamatha (English: tranquility, or calm abiding) and meditative inquiry, an insight practice from the Tibetan that invokes, instills, and integrates prajna, precise knowing.
