Mr. Gray’s Class Podcast

Reader’s Workshop

The kids will review motifs, themes, and symbolism and we will have a quiz. They will also make a one-pager about motifs, themes, or symbolism in the books they are reading.

Writer’s Workshop

The kids will finish our journalism unit by making their own, personal digital newspaper. The kids will work with drawings, documents, and a website to put all their articles together. Their newspaper and articles will be published and available for you to see!

Math

What happened to math class?

We will work on the first half of our Area and Surface Area (Geometry Unit). We will work on finding the area of parallelograms and triangles and take a homework quiz on Thursday.

History

We will start studying our next Ancient Civilization: Greece.The kids will have a check of their work on Monday and then read articles about Ancient Greece.

Science

The kids will work with Miss Stevens in science lab.
