As he walks us through the text, Pastor Tanner challenges us to consider our response to hard things and circumstances.  He reminds us that although we do not always know the reason for our suffering, as believers we can be confident that whatever comes to us is for our good and His glory. We are also reminded that in Christ we see a God who is tender, compassionate, and meets our needs.
