Our heroes strike a deal with a pretend vampire before setting out to continue their exploration of Undermountain. After a brief interlude with a confused construct, they stumble into a guard post belonging to the Xanathar's Guild, and battle ensues. The arrival of an undead beholder means this might be a bigger fight than they expected.
