To start the week off right, Carrie & Ben recap their weekend which included their time on Kyle Wallace's pontoon cruising around Milwaukee which included a few stops along the water and a surprisingly delicious meal at the Harley Davidson Museum. Carrie & Ben also share Ben's hilarious moments featuring a conversation with a married couple at the marina and him busting a few dance moves on the dock.
The duo then gets into "Something Juicy" sharing the biggest headlines from the past weekend which included Pastor Kenneth Lock announcing his plans to start an "Evolve Christian Academy in 2027, the Department of Health Services announcing cases of measles here in Wisconsin, along with the corporation for public broadcasting shutting down after funding was cut by the Trump administration.
Further into the hour Carrie & Ben mention a community activist group, the "Violence Interrupters" who have put boots on the ground at Wisconsin State Fair in the hopes to prevent violence and altercations from persisting and focusing on the larger community's safety. Carrie & Ben highlight the group and also ask Truth Nation how this idea can grow and if it's a feasible idea downtown on water street or in other neighborhoods and locations?
