Gavin and his co-founders established About:Energy in 2021, building on their academic research in the field of battery cell testing, modelling and simulation. The company has developed a software platform "The Voltt" which provides high-quality battery data and models for their customers to use helping to accelerate in-house battery development, programs.

About energy also offers physical testing and simulation services to customers, using the teams expertise in battery cell functionality and behaviour.

The data that About:Energy provides provides a deep insight into battery cell performance, and allows much better simulation models to be developed than with standard battery data alone, but to find out more about Gavin and the exciting work underway at About:Energy, check out this podcast!
