Forgiving the Girl Inside: A Matter of the Heart

86. Forgiveness Is Misunderstood

Listen Later

If Forgiveness was a person, she would be misunderstood.

Forgiveness would be seen as a plague, "Don't come near me!  I don't want anything to do with you, you are not good!"  Forgiveness would have a complex, she would probably be sad.

But forgiveness isn't any of those things.

She is powerful, congruent, has courage and strength.

Forgiveness is misunderstood  because she is judged based on people's opinions-have you stopped and thought what forgiveness means?

Forgiveness means to let go. It means to be release anything that holds you back from doing what you were meant to do.

You don't get to go back and change what happened, but you do get to choose a new perspective and it begins with forgiveness.
