Chances are that you've heard of the atrocities that occurred at asylums back in the distant past. It surprised me that many of these just closed in modern times such as the 1990s which is in our lifetimes. From lobotomies, shock therapy, beatings there is a reason so many of these horrific places have so many spectral spirits sticking around as a testament to what occurred there. Definitely not a few places you'd want to be after dark.
