People with trauma try to make things peaceful and calm no matter what. It's a common reaction but not a normal one. These repressed emotions have a lot of energy. It's like having a volcano inside yourself that keeps exploding at unexpected times, taking you and those around you by surprise and not knowing how to resolve it. A pattern that is just playing on repeat.
