As A NBA Champion, Josh Powell won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and 2010. As an activist and philanthropist, Powell Josh Powell established the 21 Reasons to Give Foundation in 2009 to proactively address the needs of youth ages 8-18 in communities from North Carolina to Georgia. 21 was Josh’s number early in his professional basketball career. This number symbolizes many things and he believes there are 21 fundamental reasons for everything the foundation does.
