It’s true. Our “enoughness” ended the moment we ate the fruit in Genesis 3. And now, well, no matter how hard we try, we’ll never sew enough fig leaves to cover our “not-enoughness.” And some things take a little more than positive self-talk and daily affirmations. So, let’s tackle another sneaky, little lie in our series: Did God Really Say?  

You Are Enough:

Nope!

“I can’t say enough positive affirmations, love myself first, or manifest my supreme future. It will not work because I.am.not.enough, and neither are you. There are no amount of fig leaves to cover up what was ultimately uncovered that day in the Garden. Christ is the covering, once and for all. And that’s the good news.”
