89. Attention NFT Normies! If you aren’t sure if you're a Normie than this is for you!
What is a normie? Well what it is matters less than how important normies are to shaping the culture of this NFT community.... but for those that want the definition here is how NYmag defined a Normie:
NOCOINER OR NORMIE: A skeptic who has stayed out of the crypto market, either from sheer bewilderment or the suspicion that it’s a giant pyramid scheme. A tweet from @Gemsays: “A nocoiner normie friend found my Twitter & said ‘you look like a crazy person trying to start an internet anti-establishment cult.’ ” If you want to learn more about the NFT terms like WAGMI and RUG PULL here's a video we created from a past episode covering 41 different terms: https://youtu.be/bQMkUcqv2Ss
In this episode, I try to shift the focus away from the terminology and more towards our ability to see thru the FUD and the 1% want to create a wealth gap and embrace the idea of what we can grow together.
