artists are people just like us, but their brilliance can make them seem brighter & shinier than any ordinary penny. we fall in love with their art, and sometimes we project it onto them. problem is, people are problematic, and since artists are people too their problematicization (made up word) can break our hearts. can we enjoy their art knowing they're a predator? can you take the artist out of the art?
