Every life and home tends to be filled with "paintings," symbols of who we were, who we want to be, and what we have experienced. Whether they are poignant songs, family pictures, or brandname clothes, the symbols we surround ourselves with reveal our story, and the meanings that inform our way of life and who we want to become.
Genesis 1:26-28 reveals God to be our Creator and we, his icons. We learn about who God is and what he desires through his work of art. Likewise, we bear the image of God as we create and our creations reveal who and where we really are and want to be.
