9-21-25 PM "Glory and Love"

Scripture Reading: John 13:31-35.

Theme: Jesus prepares his disciples for his departure by teaching them to see

his death as glorification and by teaching them to distinguish themselves by

supporting one another in love as he has loved them.

I. Jesus’ death is a display of God’s glory for it shows his incomprehensible love.

II. The way to deal with his absence is by loving one another according to a new

standard which is to become the distinguishing mark of the church.
