Solomon was given a measure of wisdom greater than all others. The Book of Proverbs is him as a dad passing down that wisdom to his son. In so doing, he passes that along to us. And in the same way that God provided Solomon with wisdom, He says He will provide wisdom for all who ask Him for it.
