This week I'm bringing you a story from Namibia. Namibia is a country in southwest Africa and is on the Atlantic coast. In this story we meet a young girl who goes on a mysterious and eventurally life saving journey while playing in the waves of the ocean. This retelling is based off of the story 'Nowandle, Girl of the Waves' by Gcina Mhlophe from her African Tales: A Barefoot Collection.
