This week we spoke with Corey Tutt, an Indigenous mentor and STEM champion. He is the founder of DeadlyScience, an initiative that provides science books and early reading material to remote schools in Australia. Tutt is the 2020 NSW Young Australian of the Year and he was born in Nowra, New South Wales. He is an aboriginal of Kamilaroi country.
We spoke with Corey about Deadly Science and some of the amazing work they are doing; as well as what it has been like growing up as an Indigenous man. Corey also described to us what life is about and how we should all take care of ourselves and the environment instead of hate and biases.
