Dyana grew up in Colombia with an adventurous spirit. She wanted a life abroad but as a single mom, she waited till her son was grown. Once he was, they moved to Garbon, Africa. Where she at first was struck by the differences but over time she soon learned that there were more similarities between her culture and theirs than she realized. Even learning that some things she thought were pure Colombian, came from Africa.
