9. How to Feel Any Emotion

When you feel something, are you aware if you are resisting, reacting to, avoiding, or allowing that emotion? Do you know where the emotion comes from and how to generate a different one? This is what I will teach you in this week's episode!

Emotions are patient. They wait for us and they don't just go away because we ignore them for long enough. The most productive way to process emotion is to feel it. Allow it to be there. Don't immediately reject it or try to feel better.

Towards the end of this episode, I will guide you through one way of processing emotion. We will focus on it and feel it. Narrate what's going on in your body. This part of the episode is available as a bonus episode as well so you can refer back to it at any time.
