Today's episode features my good friend Murphy Sylvester, a Houston-based speech therapist, who gives us a behind-the-scenes look at what her job really entails. We chatted about how to know when to advocate for your child and the many facets of speech therapy. 

One thing Murphy emphasized was not getting caught up in labels, but instead focusing on equipping children with the tools they need to communicate effectively. She shared how speech therapy can be an incredibly powerful resource, and how rewarding it is to see progress unfold through consistent practice and support.
